I've looked through 2 sports mufflers and they were straight through with one hole going down in the middle and that was it.

Chambered in a sense. Touring muff has some Dow Corning deadening material in the boxed section at the right side of the muffler. Sport doesnt.

The Corsa systems are great for stock to mild performance natural aspirated engines. It does has a straight through design, but on turbo, supercharged, or high HP applications it is not the way to go. The baffles do catch a lot of the exhaust flow and will create a lot of heat which can hurt the performance.
As Allen Nelson states : with these particular FI mods the Corsa muffler will get hotter than the cat and has decreased dyno numbers.
Though on the other hand, it seems to work great on normally aspirated engines.
Just something to keep in mind. Though I love my Corsa sport system.

Just pick a straight through muff. Power from one to another will be minimal if anything. Magna, Borla, Dynomax etc. It all comes down to tone/sound now.

As soon as I read this I new it was misinformation and called Corsa. I spoke to an engineer. First, there are NO Baffles. There are ports and chambers and the muffler runs cooler if anything in comparison to other designs. Lots of testing on Supercharged systems has been done by Corsa and Joe Gibbs as per the GM factory Joe Gibbs Chevy Trucks are equipped with a Super Charger and the Corsa Touring exhaust system.
If the Corsa was getting hotter than the cats it would surely be a nasty thing under there. Mine shows no discoloration as would be an indicator of this.
And I have spoken to Allen Nelson on this very subject and he is a big fan of the Corsa Exhaust.

Well I just spoke with Allen Nelson 5 days ago when he was in Conroe.
He told me kinda the opposite.
So.......I really don't know what to think of this information "therock."
He told me what I stated above. Also he said he wasn't a big fan of Corsa's cat back systems.
Basically, I will not start an argument as I am not one who does these tests.
Just proclaiming what I was told.
Beleive me I have a Corsa cat-back system and was not too happy to hear that info.
