Napa sells block tester kits that change the color of the liquid if there are combustion gases present. Like I said, check to see if the air bleed tubes are restricted. By the way where did you run your line for the air bleed? Could also be the issue.

Ran all stock lines from the donor truck, put all parts in "near stock" locations
