something about ls7 lifters already having oil in them? i'm looking it up and getting a lot of mixed opinions.
i'll probably soak them and prime them before i install. cant hurt anything...

soak em! you do not want to run anything dry. it takes a few seconds for a new lifter to prime anyways. trust me I'm a DR.
