Default Coming out! Going in?

I've done some searching and still questioning which cam to pick. What do you guys run and what do you not like or do like about your cam. My vvt in my 6.2 is acting up and throwing a code. I'm planning on lifters, ls2 oil pump and converting to a three bolt cam. I am wanting a boost application cam. Next year I planned on a Maggie and with this issue coming first it just sweetens the cake. Thanks for the input!
