I'm going to have mine milled and polish the runners/chambers.

I have no experience, so I'm not comfortable enough to try and take away material. Only one mistake can mess up the whole air path. Plus, I have a custom camshaft already spec'd for what I'm going to be doing. Can't fall off track now.

Are you paying to have someone do the install for you or are you doing it yourself?? I remember you saying you do alot of your own work. Id love to help out and get some first hand experience with a cam swap, but I think you live like 3-4 hours from me
Im pretty envious of you guys that can do this stuff on your own. Id have thousands of dollars left over if I could do this stuff on my own. Good luck with it.

thanks for the opinions. i will keep everyone updated on its progress. Im taking the block to get checked out and getting the cylinders honed and getting the crank micro-polished at the machine shop tommorow.
