Default Which cold air

Which cold air intake is the best for a 4.8 or does it even matter?

It doesn't really matter. Minimal gains from all of them for a ridiculous price. You can make your own a lot cheaper. Use the stock airbox, cut an extra hole or two in it to let more air in.

Yea, they're all pretty much the same...I felt no difference from when I had a K&N FIPK to my current Volant with ram air. I have heard negative feedback about the VaraRam though...fitment and quality issues.

I am partial to my GM performance Parts intake setup. Looks nicer than any competitor in my honest opinion.

I have an Outlaw CAI on my 5.3 it works nice. But I am not to keen on the quality of the assembly. THe fit and finish could be better. I personally like how the Volant works. Is there a difference? WHo knows, I would like to think so.
