I've been doing some research on programmers and exhaust systems for my 05' VHO.
I ended up with no computer programmers other than custom or bolt-on exhaust kits are available as of this time for my 05' VHO.
All hand held manufacturers told me that they would have a programmer for my truck at the beginning or mid summer. I received the same response for bolt-on exhaust manufacturers. I'm speaking of from the cats back without any exhaust pipe cutting.
I found Corsa to be the best one that I liked. They aim for performance gains and more mpg, than going for a specific exhaust tone.
My research came up with dead ends at this time.
What do all of you guys know that I dont?
P.S. The 04' VHO's or SS's have different factory computer programs than the 05's. So an 04 programmer will not work. The exhaust for the SS will not interchange with the VHO's exhaust system either.

Sounds Like You Already Know LOL!

 

For a tune I would go with Nelson, it was the best thing I have done. He can help you. The exhaust, well that is a whole other issue.

 

What or who is Nelson???? I want a programmer that I can take out if I need to send it in for warranty work. I don't want something that is burned into my factory computer that I cannot take out myself.
