Could be the "intermediate steering shaft” Just had that replaced in the 03 HD when it started to rattle.

my trailblazer is doing the exact same thing. i just noticed it last night when i drove to town. i'll have to check the steering shaft. mine only does it when i give it a little gas on take off or if i am coasting and i tap the gas slightly. same as you described.

my TB is a 02 also. wonder if the problem is year specific. i don't know if the trucks and tb's are assembled at the same plant or not though.

another thing to add, i had my wife barely rev it while i watched the engine and the engine seemed to vibrate. so i am wondering if something else is causing it. i just hope it's a quick and easy fix.

mine just started doing it yesterday. then i seen your post. the only thing i can figure is, i went to change the plugs the other day from stockers to ngk and the plugs were way too short. so i installed the stock ones and put the coil back over the plugs. i only took two plugs out. i wonder if one of the plug wire boots didn't go back on right. i think that would cause a miss though, at higher rpm and wot it goes fine.
