Default Cel P0315

I got this code after the tranny shop put in my Transgo, Eaton posi, aluminum accumulator pistons and servo release check valve. The Predator won't clear it, it just pops right back. Truck runs fine.

"crankshaft position variation not learned" from an older thread - why would it get this code after the tranny shop worked on it?

I'll be putting in Allen's Radix tune pcm this week after the kit is installed, maybe that will clear it up? I've had allens 93 tune pcm in for months.

thats wierd, maybe they disconected the battery and lost the ckp sensor calibration in the pcm, you could reset it with tech 2 if you have access to one, thats the first thing to try,

Check the sensor at the back of the motor. I bet it is either broke off or unplugged or damaged somehow.

its located in the block right above the starter, if it was broken or unplugged your truck wouldnt start though.

The CEL went away after I swapped PCM's w/the Radix.......it was fine for about 4k miles and now I have the same code except when I scan it with the Preditor it says the cause unknown....truck drives fine......why do I keep getting these with Allen's PCM's and how do I clear it? (predator wont clear the code)

This is very common, had it happen twice to me. (changed the PCM twice 2 different times) Cost me $40 to have it cleared at a local shop. This happened to me about 3000 miles after i changed the PCM. I talked to Allen over at Nelson Performance, he really could not do anything. The only thing that can clear the code it is a TECH II or EFILIVE with bi-directional controls.

Thanks vortec, what kind of shop did you go to? I wonder if the dealership would do it......although they would probably give me a dozen weird looks after I explained to them that the pcm is not stock, but a tuned pcm, for my supercharger.....they would probably then try to convince me its a Joe Gibbs truck, or something
