Default cats only

Guys does anyone out there just run straight cats and no muffler? Any sound clips? What about resonance? Thanks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I unbolted the exhaust at the flang at first it was a bit loud, then I cut off the two foot length of pipe (from flang to the muffler with the first hanger retained) off the old exhaust and bolted it back up. The langth of pipe did a lot to shut it up and move the noise away (the tone was the same). I get lots of complements from others and it gave a nice, noticeable increas in power and gas millage. I call it the 'free exhaust mod'

Gunner: if you want to know what it sounds like just unbolt, move it out of the way, and it and fire it up. If you like it keep it, if you don't bolt it back up, no harm no foul.

I run cats only. It is pretty loud at first but, you will get used to it. With my old 5.3 I shifted at 6,250rpm and it really woke it up with no backpressure.
