Oh I have no clue when it comes to boost. lol!

I have a buddy with a procharged camaro the same year as mine. Had some tuning problems and got it fixed when he got the wideband o2s. Seems there were easier to dial in.

yes...it was much easier for cablebandit to tune accurately when we finally got the wideband installed...

Boost is very dependant on exhaust. I put a 3" inlet/outlet strait thu design muffler on my and lost .5 lb of boost over straight piping.

If you are normally running 8 psi, and it jumped to 12, I assume you had a tremendous increase in power?

If not, bad guage?

I'd just hook up a vacuum/boost test gauge to the intake and see whats goin on. That or if you have any tuning software or scanning software log some data from the MAP sensor. What kind of gauge are you running right now?
