Does it catch it and hold it, or does it route it back to the oil pan or somewhere else???

the bottom hole is a drain.

i didnt have all the stuff for the baffling that i wanted but i just took some plate and cut a circle and drilles alot of small holes in it, and welded it in, and below that is another piece that is bent at a 90 and has small holes in it..i was wanting to put some steel wool in between these, but i didnt have any..these piece are about an 1 1/2 or so from the top..i know it aint much but if it dont work i'll make somethin else.. also one question i had for some one that knows more about this than i do. im going to have easch valve cover come into this and go into the back of my intake. is that ok?

If you want to keep a closed system, that would be fine. Just be sure to use large enough hose to keep good airflow.
