Default cat-back vs true dual

is there any noticable difference between running a cat-back system or a true dual setup

On a lightly modified truck, then no. But if you get into porting your heads and major stuff like that, then true duals may help more than a traditional catback. I;m thinking of going from 1 in/2 out Flowmaster to a true dual setup just cuz I like the raspy metallic sound of the dual mufflers.
