Default Cat-Back choices?

I am in the process of ordering the pacesetter LT's and ORY, and im wondering what kind of setup I should follow it up with. Im planning on having cats on it just not right away and I currently have a 70 series flowmaster all mandrel bent dual exhaust setup on it now. What I was thinking of having was an aerochamber 3" in/ out and then running it out over the axle and dumping it, with a cutout in between the ORY and muffler of course. What do you guys think?

It depends on how loud you want your truck. I used a Magnaflow 3" single inlet/outlet (#12579) muffler and had my local exhaust shop install with with 3" pipe. I had them run it over the axle and dump it. I wanted to keep the truck pretty quiet since I had plans of headers and OR y-pipe. It has a great, mellow sound that's slightly louder than stock. I think it will be perfect once the headers are on.

FYI, we'll have more PaceSetter truck headers in stock late next week and ready to ship. PM or e-mail me if you've found a better price elsewhere, and I'll see if I can price-match or beat it for you.

Anything but slowmasters!! Magnaflow's are great, spintech is one that I have heard good things about lately.

I have had good luck with my gibson cat-back. It's pretty quiet so I am not sure if you would dig it. They have some that are louder than others.

I like that side exit exhaust kit that Gibson has. Pretty cool.

It sounds pretty good too. I have the single side exit system because i wanted to stay under the radar, and I use my truck for hunting also. I noticed some good gains with the system. If I had it all to do again, i would probably go with the dual sport or the extreme split whatever. It makes a little more noise, but not obnoxious.
