that's really awesome! I'm assuming that anything with an E0 # is going to pass by inspection.

I modded one of my older cars and it failed visual - on the exhaust, just took it to another garage and it passed fine

Yea, CA's the worst, not only do the cats have to be there, they have to be in their original location....great weather, horrible emissions regulations lol.

Im glad I dont have to deal with smog....that would suck
I guess LT's are out the window....could run some shorties but waste of money IMO

yah, right now I'm thinking 87-octane tune, CAI, catback, e-fans... ugh, that's over $1k already

save the money on a CAI and just modify the stock box....not a whole lot to gain when going with a CAI except maybe how it clean's it up under the hood

FIPK & CAI should not be allowed to be used together. Although the FIPK does have less restriction than the oem intake, it also draws a lot more hot air from under the hood than the "sealed box" type aftermarket CAIs. An improvement but the the best option.

do any of the CAI kits go into the fender? or are they all 'box' based?

My current Injen setup on my Mazda6 puts the filter out into the wheel well which is MUCH cooler than the engine bay...
