I Would Put The Money In Other Places Do All Bolt Ons First, there Is No Reason For U To Skip The Mian Mods.e-fans,lt's,udp's.

The Only Reason I Have Adjustable Rockers And 1.85 Cause I Have Solid Roller Lifters And My Is Only 525/532 Lift.
U Will See More Gains With E-fans And Pullys Than Rockers

Harland Sharps 1.8 are way under $400

I would not rec. 1.8 with any cam build the lift into the cam not the rocker ratio.

here let me counter that build it into the cam theory. if you do it right, you'll do better. vinci put their theory to the test. and here's the results. 03 corvette auto.

comp cams 220/224 .581/.581 115LSA with the 1.7 accelerated lift rockers vs vinci 056 216/224 .551/.551 (1.7 ratio) 113 LSA with 1.8 accelerated lift rockers. which brings total lift to .583/.583.

You are also gaining Duration with 1.8 ratio rockers. There are alot of other factors involved in adding ratio than just the lift. There is absolutly no need to add extra strain to the valve train if you are doing a cam swap you can build all you need into the cam and keep the stock ratio. Changing ratio is for those who want more without having to change a cam.

How much gain can be expected from a change in rockers? What's the downside?
