CRAZYCUTER4.8 had a 224/224 in his 4.8 with a stock converter a few months back before he put in the 3500 stall and although it will be a little better in the 5.3 it felt like a 75 shot of n20 when it finally kicked in in the mid-high rpm range. There were peoplel that thought he was spraying when it kicked in! Thats how obvious it was. It was a pain in the *** to drive!

Matt, he is saying that when the converter locks up at low speeds it will feel very sluggish, I wouldnt be surprised if there was a little cam surge, probably not much though. Since your OD servo locks up earlier it probably will be noticable.

dont know why, but my TR 220 with stock stall at 40 locked felt ugly, to pass i had to make the truck down shift. i raised the lockup points to 46 mph in 4th before i put aftermarket stall and it helped.
