Default Can I run a f body water pump on--

my engine, untill I get a ls6 intake for it. I mean just to get by in the mean time. I am to the point where I have everything I need to put it in with the truck intake. Or if I run the f-bod pump will i need to change the alt, power sterring. Does the f-bod pump have a different offset on the pully then the truck pump.
Thanks John

Just press the truck wp pulley onto the f-body wp and you're good to go.

Car accessories are about 1/2" closer to the block than truck accessories IIRC.

awsome so it is just as easy as swaping the pully. Forgive me but, I still would have to switch the acces alt and P.S to f-bod ones the ls6 intake is on the engine while in the truck.
Thanks John

I don't think so...swapping the pulley should take care of it.

actually the fbody pully is alot wider than the truck pulley you might just bolt it on and see if your belt lines up and if not just press it off just a little bit

This is what I am getting at can I run all the truck acc other then the truck pump with the ls6 intake, or do i need to use the f bod P.S, Alt. If I use the f bod alt bracket can I still retain the truck acc, even though they have different off sets.??
