Default Can anyone help me with my 96?

I have been told that if there is a question to ask about truck computers, then bring it over to tech so....here I am. My question is, I have a 96 305(5.0L) Z-71 fresh off of a rebuild and new cam. I am getting horrible fuel mileage and performance, and I have a preaty good idea that it is computer related. Any idea of where or who I can get this thing tuned by? I am in Auburn, as of right now, but I do live in Atlanta. I am looking for someone that can do computer work, or dyno tune the thing, because as of right now I am getting screwed on performance and fuel efficentcy

I think only Westers can tune 96-99 trucks.

I totally forgot that I posted over here. Whoops, anyway i really appreciate the help. I have found a couple of factors that might be affecting my truck. After I do a little more research I will get back and let ya'll know what I came up with.

I had my 96 computer recalibrated for my stroker motor by ED White @ fastchip in Oklahoma City> He did a great job. Just a thought. I picked up a used computer at one of the parts yards and had him reprogram it with my vin # and his new tuning. Then if I had to send it in for retuning, I would have a spare to plug in and keep the truck running until i received the other unit back. You might want to consider that. good Luck,

Wester's just sends you a different PCM (no down time whats-o-ever), send the other back and transaction is complete

I thank ya'll for the replies. After I posted I decided to look around and check out the site. I find the difference in this site and the others to be so amazing. It is different because everyone over here is about tunning and generally precision setups with their engines, rather then just adding power adders without knowledge or understanding of how they will affect their vehicles pcm. Thanks so much for all of the help, I will give both places a ring.
