Default Camshaft selection for a 6.0 lq4

I recently picked up a lq4, teared it apart and I have to send it out to get machined, I’m either contemplating doing a 408 stroker or just getting it machined to reuse factory internals. I plan on doing Texas speed 243/799 assembled heads and I need some input on what cam to put in it. It’s going to be my daily and I do plan on doing a converter. I want it to be a respectable street truck low 400 horsepower to the wheels. The truck is a 2000 Silverado regular cab short bed, 4x4, 3.73 rear

Id go for something in the mid 220s.
Something like this with a 3200 converter is a fun setup in a regular cab.
Ive used them in 5.3 and 6.0s.

But if you havent bought heads yet, id highly suggest going Rectangle port. 821/823 heads flow awesome.

This cam in a stock LS3/TR6060 setup with headers puts down 480rwhp. Id suggest a 3200-3600 converter.

What tire size? Are you going to do any traction aids?

The CamMotion Stage 2 seems like a great cam: https://cammotion.com/in-stock-ready...206-210-115-5/

Or something similar to those specs?

I have a BTR truck 2 cam in my 6.0 since my 5.3 was replaced and wish I’d gone a little bigger. Probably because the operating range was apparently in my LY5

If cathedral ports really were that great in a truck GM would have never changed them over. My $.02
