Default Camshaft and Rocker arm upgrades

Has anyone installed the crane cams 1.85 ratio rocker arms. What gains can be seen with them? Also does it give the truck a more lopey sound like a cam does, since it raises the intake and a few other things by 10%. Just curious. Also I'm looking into a cam, springs and pushrods If anyone has a set they would like to get rid of, let me know.

They don't cause any lope. I'll have a set for sale in 5-6 weeks.

Why are you getting rid of them?

just my opinion. dont waste your money on the higher rocker ratio if your gonna buy a cam with it.

just buy the cam to the specs you like and call it a done deal.

here's my hp and tq graphs from installing the 1.89 accelerated lift rockers from VHP/CRANE on the wife's 99 formula

hp graph

tq graph no that's not a 60 rwtq gain either. it's a spike at the beginning of the run. the true gain is what the cursor shows.

What camshaft is she running?

nvm. i see your sig.

probably she gained some up top because of the increased lift over her stock cam.

I will disagree about the lope.
when I put the comp 1.85's on mine, it gave the stock cam a bit of a lope to it.
not much but very noticable.
but i will agree. had to take them off because they wouldn't work with the cam I went with

I don't plan on putting a cam in my truck but would the 1.85 rockers help me any? I just plan on doing every bolt on I can till I feel the need for more power.

I installed mine at the same time I had gibson headers put on. I could feel a difference thru the entire rpm range. Most estimates are 10-15 rwhp which seems to be about what the graph above shows.
