3800 3B. From what chris told me a 3B is a lot tighter than a 3C and is more street friendly. My 4C converter was fun don't get me wrong but i kinda miss the tightness of my old Yank 3k lol.

Yes sir! Same with mine... looked pretty good for having 151k miles. Even the lifters looked good lol.

I sold the short block to a member on HPT and hes gonna throw a cam in it and run it the way it was

I recently swapped a crate LS1 from Scoggins Dickey, will mention a couple things you may already know.

1. There is one hole missing for the AC compressor bracket.
2. Dipstick location for truck use is plugged with a freeze plug type deal
3. Missing two holes on the back of the block that is used for grounds.

You will like the LS1! In my truck I can seriously feel the weight difference, not to mention the increased power :-)

Ill be happy with mid 12's with it in the 1/4 on slicks but if i hit anything lower it will be icing on the cake. Im sure it will do better than that in good weather but im not gonna set my goals to high yet lol.
Wow i guess my own goals for my 5.7 are a bit to high

Im shooting for the 400 mark also but with a smaller cam...

Good lookin build
