Hey guys. About to do the swap on my 01 Silveardo. I have an 05 LQ4 long block that with no intake manifold (going to use the stock 5.3). Already have header back exhaust, procharger at 11 lbs with the 5.3, FLT LVL 7, 3200 Yank, and other misc parts. Was wondering what you would suggest for a cam while I have the motor here on the stand. What gaskets are all of you using? Truck is still going to be my daily driver. Thanks

 

im doing a similar setup on mine and every one ses for F/I u shud go ls6 cam for the money and oem quality it cant be beat got mine for 50 bucks after shipping was taking out! ls1tech has aloooot

 

as for gaskets I am using all GM stuff on my 408 build

 

I've had good luck with the Vinci trucker cam and yellow springs.

 

My TSP224r on a 112lsa loves boost No really it does. I am running a 05 6.0 aswell
