well I am not sure of the gain MPG wise.
but I did notice that I am getting better mileage after the cam swap.
maybe it's because I dont have to get on it as hard to get it moving

Same here! I dunno if it's b/c the LS1 is all aluminum or what, but I still get 16-17 mpg in town even with the TR224.

My gas mileage with the 4.8 was 14-15 in town.

Well if you want a lope than you will want to stay in the lower numbers of the lsa, like 110-113. I can't give you mpg increase yet, but maybe in a couple weeks when I plan on installing all of my stuff just sitting around waiting.
You have a good tune with nelson 93 octane tune. I have debated the same, as far as mpg goes, but the extra expense of the 93 octane doesn't really add up. It will improve with that tune but then again it will cost you more. So its a toss up.

well since the gas guage doesnt work I will do it like this
before the cam swapI could go 225 miles on a single tank( mind you I never could get my foot out of the Radiator )which a tank in these trucks is 26 Gallons.
When I would fill up I would put in 24 -25.8 gallons every time.
I just had to watch the mileage when it got over 210miles on the odometer, it was time to start hunting for a gas station.
Now after the swap. I filled up at 230 miles (that had me really worried on the mileage cause I couldnt find a decent gas station to fill up at, and I figured I would be sucking gas really bad with this cam) and the pump stopped at 18 gallons . it was full
I will have to do some calculating to see how much I gained, but I also basically still implant my foot into the radiator.

If it is exactly 18 gallons you are at 12.77 mpg now. If you filled with 18 gallons before its 11.66. I know you were filling up with more but without exact numbers its hard to tell other than BETTER.
