Default cam instilation

just wandering how hard it is to install a cam, pushrods and springs. if/when i decide to put one in the truck, i dont really want to pay the price of the cam to have all that stuff installed. how long will it take, can i do it, do i need any special tools, where can i look to see how it is done.

serious responces only please.

Thanks in advance,
Zach

These have to be the easiest engines to change the cam on. You can do it in a half a day if you go slow and take several beer breaks. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> Here are the intructions I printed and used. http://www.ls1info.com/cam_install/index.html Hope that helps ya...

Joseph can probably cut you a deal on the install, if you don't want to mess with it.
