cam install
#1
does anyone know who can do a cam install on our truck for a resonable price? i called motorsports and they wanted $700 just for install. is that a good price for a cam install? i don't have the tools or patients to do it myself, but just need someone reputable. also preferebly in the houston area.
thanks.........

Dude, don't pay $700 just for labor, you could save some $$. I am not sure about the mechanics where you live, but around here (Waco TX) the most expensive guy I have used is $50 an hour, and that would be equal to 14 hours labor but for a professional it should not take near that long, so you should look around some more for a better deal.

You mean MTI? The $700 has to include the cam and the install. Last time I heard, a complete cam install (LS6) including labor was around 6-7 at MTI.
