I changed my gaskets for some cheap insurance. You can re-use the old ones, but for $45 bucks from Scoggin-Dickey (sponsor to the right>>>), you get a complete cam change kit that even comes with a new crank bolt.

Yea, the lifters will be fine, they're roller lifters so you don't get the wear patterns like on the flat tappet style. Plus, the lifters can't be removed with the heads on. You're gonna want to upgrade your valve springs to something that can handle the extra lift...ls6, or Comp 915's or 918's, or Crane duals, etc.

What cam do you have in mind?

I pm'd you this morning. I only received 1 pm, am I missing any?Unfortunately, I do not have much time to look at LS1Tech or my pms, which is why I stated in the sale to call me. It is easier to reach me by phone on our tollfree number. Last week the sale had me busy from open to past closing and I am now just returning emails and pms. If I haven't reached someone yet, I will. But feel free to call me as I always answer the phone. Sorry for the delay but I am so busy that I don't have much time to spend here. Then when I get home my wife and kids keep me busy. Please be patient with us sponsors. You have to remember while you pm one shop looking for answers, we are one shop answering hundreds of questions. We obviously want everyone's business, but we have to answer one question at a time. If you call, the question is answered quicker. Emails and pms are answered in between phone calls, clients in the office, parts being shipped, internet orders, installations, and my normal everyday business. Thanks for your patience, Joe.
