Cam Help
#3
yeah clean it really good with some eather or throttle body cleaner, its a good idea to put some engine asembly lube on there, its cheap and will help the cam break in for the first few miles then change ya oil and you should be good to go....

I used Federal Mogul engine assembly lube since I had it, but it's not necessary from what I've read. Seems a good coat of oil will take care of it...I'm assuming since it's a roller cam, the lobes aren't an issue, and since the cam bearings are re-used, that's not an issue. No break in or "running in" the cam either...possibly some break in on the valve springs though, may need to let them go through a few heat cycles if they're Comp's.
