cam and dailydriver!!!
#1
hey guys!
i have a 06 5.3 crewcab with muffler,proflash programmer,k&n cold air kit,3.73's.
i would like to get a supercharger for my truck, but i am in no way gonna spend $6000 on my truck just for a supercharger.this is my daily driver, and i don't plan on racing the truck,i would just like more power for everyday driving and occasional towing my 12ft trailer with my 2 bikes.i was wandering if a cam would help me out noticable bit.i don't want a lopey idle as this is my daily driver, nor do i wanna lose a buttload of torque on bottom end.i would like to keep my stock convertor as well for towing reasons and what not.what do you guys think would be my best route to go with?
thanks guys!

Just put a 216/224 .551 in my daily driver. Theres a couple guys on here that run that cam with the stock converter,as will I for awhile...But its not recommended. As far as drivability, thats all in the tune
