Default Is this cam to big for a 4.8?

228/232 .612/.612 113+4 LSA

A friend was putting it in his ls1 car but decided to sell the car and get a truck. Is it to big? Should I go with something else?

that's a pretty big cam for a 4.8...you're gonna need some serious stall and it'll be a hell of a revver if it can hold together

Ya that's real big for a 4.8 but u wouldn't be the first one to use it but u will need like a 4400 stall and 4.10+ gears too

I was gonna do the same cam,WITH a circle D 3800 stall and 4.56 gears, just so it had some kind of bottom end with that cam,and not a rev band from 3800 to 6500.
