Cam In!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, first of all I want to thank this board for this install. I bought the parts here and got the info help with the install. The cam is 216/221 558" both sides. It went in an 05 rcsb with no cats and big exhaust and sounds super super nasty. No tune and a stock converter and contrary to responses I had been gettin it does fantastic. I cant believe it, it sounds like a huge cam. Newayz, it has not even been hammered yet due to break in on the valve springs and I will report more tomorrow.

Sounds like a nice grind, what's this in, a 5.3? Who ground the cam? What's the LSA?
|
any low end loss with that cam and the stock stall? im guessing you are probably a 2wd rcsb truck?
i have a 220/220 and 3000 stall going in mine when i get a free weekend.. cant wait to have more sound then my 210/218 cam |
I said this before somewhere, but a converter isn't required for a cam install. It will make the cam more desorable, but just cause of a bigger cam doesn't mean you have to step up to a bigger converter

More Specs On The Cam? Lsa? 4.8 Or 5.3? 2wd Or 4wd?

i rode my 220 w/ no stall and stock tuning for 2 weeks. it wasn't that bad until i would come to a stop and have to 2 foot it. didn't loose that much bottom end either.
