Default Cam?

I have another post on this but I figured a more specific post would be best. I am wondering about a mid 530's lift cam. How is this gonna do in a 5.3? I am wanting a lopey idle so I am thinking a high 220 low 230's duration. Am I correct on this assumption. I know there is alot of science in cams but I am wanting something that is a good sounding cam and not lose too much low end.

If you want a lopey idle you will need to get with with a smaller lobe seperation. Compcams make a 206/212 with a 112 lobe witch would be lopey and won't lose any low end.
