i am assuming that you have the older g-tech model. i have the new competition pro that costs $250. i like it. with the unit you have, there is i think only 1 accelometer, which means you have to have it pretty level. you might have to take it through some caliberation steps before you use it. you probably could download an instruction manual at their website. i know i can for the unit i have, not sure about yours though. let me know if you have any more Q's. also sometimes you can program g-techs to stage a rolling start, not sure if your unit does that too.

Get it on the flattest road you can think of. I use Willow inbetween Copper and Shepard late at night. It's pretty quiet most of the time except for Table Mountaineers, and very long without stop signs. Then mount it to the windshield and level it out to 0.00. The closer the better. Too far off and it'll display tilt. So far my best GTech et was 15.76/91.6MPH

when you mount that to your windshield you need to adjust it untill it reads .00 or as close to that as you can, that is 0g. then if you got it to give you some readings youhave the rest figured out.

well, the 1st time i used it probably was a fluke. i had it wedged in my cup holder in my center console, plus there was a slight bend in the road. it was like a 14.5xx which i knew was crap. i only used it a few times. the best i have done with it mounted to my windshield and on a flat road (for the most part) was 15.484 at 92.54 mph. it was about 30* outside. i ran a few times back and forth on the same road and put my data in MS Excel. the avg was 15.625 at 91.045 mph. i haven't used it for a while, only 0-60 when i am 1st at a stoplight. i have poor 0-60 and 60' times. my 60' times are around 2.7 and my 0-60 is about 7.3. i can feel my truck hesitate when i stomp on it. anyway to get rid of this early lag that is has? i order a yank3000 so we'll see if those times go down. i don't plan on changing my gears. i have 3.73. any other suggestions to improve my low end times
