You could go with the 6.0, the 5spd, and turn the 4x4 into an AWD. That would be a pretty sick truck

 

Haha i've actually thought about that, but i don't know if it's worth the trouble, i don't think anyone has ever done that, don't know if i would want to be the first one to test it out, lol.

 

Ive seen some site somewhere, and that guy did it with an 04 4x4 with a 5.3 and an auto tranny. I think its just changing the transfer case and flashing the associated control modules to make it AWD. Havn't seen anyone with a manual tranny, AWD, though... Anyone out there thats done it or seen one want to jump in this?

 

How do you think that would handle with a t56 AWD?

 

I don't know if there is a t56 out there that is set up for a transfer case. There probably is some company out there that has a conversion or sells a whole tranny for a t-case.

 

Well i sure as hell wouldn't want to test it out, 2wd is okay w/ me.
