Anyone know if the C5 Exhaust Manifold will work on a 04 5.3L 1500 ECSB? They don't need to bolt up to the Y-pipe or anything, but will they bolt on to the engine and clear everything with enough room to fabricate a custom exhaust behind it?

 

They will bolt to the engine, but I don't know about if they will clear everything. They don't take up too much room, and they flow very well. I think that it would be worth a shot. I have seen a 10 hp diff (crank, not wheels) between c5 manifolds and z28 ones, but I still don't know how much better they would be than our truck ones.

I don't think they will clear the engine cross member. The car manifolds dump out nearly straight down from the heads compared to the truck models.

 

That's what I was kinda wondering. I'll hafta take a good look under the hood tomorrow, I wonder if I can mod the collectors to clear.
