Default bypass muffler

anyone running a bypass muffler like this one?
bypass

i got an aftermarket muffler my dad had installed at a shop, and i wanna replace it with something like this. at the track, do they care, or would they notice if you had the bypass open?

most tracks don't care. i have never seen or heard anyone use these except muscle cars. It's always worth a try.

order from jegs.com before you order from that store. holy moly that is expensive. $30 markup.

Yeah, it's called a cut-out. Big deal, why incorporate one into your muffler?

b/c i have a single muffler/dual exit system, and i wanna get rid of it. for weight, and looks reasons. also, i thought i've heard single exit exhaust systems squeeze a few more ponies out. figured why buy a cut out and a new muffler, when i could just get the whole deal in one.
