Default buying a new 5.3l

is 450 bucks for a complete 5.3l engine out of 2005 crew cab including all accessories, belts, sheilds, etc. a good deal. How bout a complete 5.3l from 2001 chevy with 17k miles for 600 bucks. thanks

I picked up an 02 5.3 with 77k on it with an engine stand for 300 bucks. The map sensor was busted and so what the throttle body but other than that it was in good shape.
