this sounds dumb, but what the hey. i need to buy a HPP3, but i want to pay cash for it, i live in the woodlands, which is north of houston. can any shops around here order them in and i pick it up there, or does any shops carry them in stock. i dont want to have it shiped to my home cuz the parents wont be verry happy, and i dont need them on my back about it.

There are several places in Houston that carry them. Always the pimp for MTI ,I'll say them first. There is Octerbeck, 4wheelparts, and almost all the speed shops and truck accesory shops in Houston.

I don't know where all the shops in Houston are, so I don't know which ones are close to you up there. I just thought with you being near the beltway, that it wouldn;t take to long to get to MTI from where you are. I guess you will have to let your fingers do the walking. But call around and make them play the price match game. Or get it sent to a good friends house that you trust.

ET Performance has them instock for around $330 but he is in Pasadena. You can get them for around $350 at Tx Performance Dist. but they are by Hobby airport. You may try Strictly Performance or 3D performance but I DOUBT they will have them instock. They are mustang specialists. MTI will have them but they are WAY on the West side of Houston, still a good drive for you.
