Default burning smell

i got 12,000 miles i just got a burning smell i dont have anything leaking the smell come's and go's can it be my cat's

Yea alot of different smell can mean alotta different things.

A while back I ran over a plastic bag that got lodged between the cat and block and it melted and caused a bad burning smell..Check underneath your truck.. Dead cat lodged in between exhaust .....

lift your right arm all the way up in the air.....turn head to the right 90 degrees and take a whiff. let us know how it works out for ya.
