Looking for the cam that will give me the most power in a 5.3.

 

I bought the Old Man Truck Cam from Thunder Racing. They put one in their bosses 5.3 and the cam alone made 40rwhp! And that was without a tune! Add probley another 20 rwhp from a tune and it is possible to hit 60 rwhp with just a cam swap. I havent had the time to install it yet but I will keep you updated. The specs are 214/220 .600/.532 115 lobe

 

thanks for the info. I had a buddy that worked at a tuning place, he did a cam swap and made 320rwhp. he ran 13.90s with that setup. no headers just intake cam and exhaust cutout. I lost his number and i cant find out what cam he had.
