how much would it cost and what would it do i need it for a dayley driver and race

My rebuild kit is made by JET and it cost me a total of $1400 for the kit and rebuild

I guess you're asking about a built trans.

You can buy the parts and put them in yourself.
I would replace the 3rd gear clutch pack, the 2/4 bank, install a shift kit (softest level) and a vette servo.

The clutches are about $50
The 2/4 band is about $30
The shift kit is $50-100
The vette server is under $30

You can probably get a trans guy to install these for about $500, pull the trans yourself and save a little money.

You should have a nice firm shift, hold the rpms longer and just with that installed you should have a trans that will last a long time. Oh ya, install a $50 additional trans cooler.
