Default Building an LQ9.....

So I decided the cheapest way for me to get my LQ9 is to build one, and I started my acquisition with the rotating assembly that I just bought from grippy. My question is this: how much of the 5.3 stuff can I use in the 6.0? I know I need a 6.0 block and 317 heads, but will everything else swap over? i.e. timing covers, oil pump, lifters, oil pan, flywheel, etc etc etc?

Yup, everything will interchange.

everything should interchange, but finding the LQ9 specific crank and rods can be a bit tough.

I took all the sensors, flywheel, replaced the oil pump but it was the same, pretty much everything off the 5.3 and put it on my LQ4.

Sweet...I already got the hard part done then, the LQ9 pistons, rods, and crank I just bought from grippy, so all I got left is a block and heads, then I can start building! Thanks all.

I gotta say
you got a nice deal
200 for the rotating ***
just think...
695 for a 6.0 Iron block from sdpc and thats
basically a brand new LQ9 short block for around 1000 bucks

any thoughts on heads and cam choices?
I like the idea of a radix on a H/C LQ9 after the truck already turned a 13
with the 5.3

For heads you might as well just get a nice built set from WCCH...might be a core charge I guess, but in the end you'll end up with some nice worked heads.
