Seriously man, you need to start searching building 5.3's on this site before replying again.....
And you do not out run new SS's...no one on here is going to believe that because it is not true and will not be true unless you want to really spend some money......

Saw a new SS go a 14.01 all night and a new ZL1 go 12.2, 12.4, and 12.6 at the track friday night.. they are slow for what they are.
I can out run my buddys 6sp manual 2010 SS up till 100 but he comes around me after that.
just cause it makes 425hp done mean anything.. thats what the engine was rated at.
i could make 600hp but if the setup wasnt right, it wouldnt be worth a flilp.
