Taht bend that you see in the top of the first pic if a mandrel bend that I bought. Where you know there is going to be a sharp bend buy a mandrel bend for it.

I would definately go 3" all the way. That's what I had on my Hemi with longtubes, and it ran like a bat outa hell! That's what I'm going to do with my new engine as well, and I don't even have a cam. A 6.0 with a cam would have no problem what so ever with 3" all the way...

Might try to find a good muffler shop to build you one. I had mine built for about $180. That's from the Header to the Bullet muffler. Total I think I paid $215, with muffler and Y.....

To my knowlege there isnt anywhere around town that has a mandrel bender. The exhaust guy I use can bend 3" but the die isnt perfect, and it crimps on tight bends. there arent too many shops around me that can bend 3" 90's, and I dont know of any others that will make an off road Y pipe for me.

Mine was kinda crimped on the 90, but that isn't goin to hurt you enough to bother with finding someone else around you to do it. It didn't hurt mine at all. Still ran bad ***. And the same shop that did the Y for the Hemi is also goin to do the one for the Chevy, unless I can find a good LT/Y combo for sale...

Ive got thorleys and I used 3 2.5" U bends to make my y pipe, just cut and weld. Then I used the flowmaster ypipe to a single 3" Ive been happy and the exhaust works well especially in the mid range.

I know futral can make you one but it might be kinda pricey. Try Blake's Muffler in Central off of Joor Rd. I have seen him do some clean work.
