the nitrous wouldnt that be rough on a motor over 100,000 miles? and i thought about sts turbo but i dont have 5 grand right now to do it but trust me i would like to lol. and yeha i was thinking of wheatly

You'll lose your transmission before your motor...

personally i like N/A over turbos i just like the sound i think with full bolts you will be very happy im very happy with header and tune cant wait to install everything else let us know what route you decide to go

yeah i hear charlie wheatley is good. awesome guy to talk to, and he loves tuning cant say i would go with his tune over my nelson tune (never experienced his tune) but i would definately trust him with anything he wanted to do to my truck. spray that 100k old motor and wory about your tranny instead of the motor

actually the tranny went already in april of 2003 i was supposed to start the fire dept on april 7 and on april 4 one day after my bday the tranny crapped out. i was sitting at a light stepped on the gas and nothing i mean nothing no foward gears no reverse gear. i had only like 40k on it at the time so i put a remanufactured gm unit in thank God for extended warranty cuz i only paid like 400 bucks for it. so the tranny only has like 60 or just under on it. cant you just do a shift kit or do you have to do a full rebuild on it? also i think i will try to go the parts way to do it does it really matter what i do first i mean since i have intake and exaust would headers be the best to start with?

long tubeheaders or a tune would be the best i think but if you tune spend the money and do hp or nelson or charlie

One version of the 6.0L motor...comes in the 2500 Chevys among other things.
