Default Budget Giggle Gas

I've been thinking about going the nitrous route with my truck. I've decided that I want a wet system, but I want to keep the costs down. I'm on a broke college kid budget. So I have an idea:

How hard would it be to buy an entry level kit, like the Sniper kit from NOS, and just replace the plate with a fogger nozzle? Would this work? I was also contemplating taking the spray bar out of the plate, and just putting it in my intake tube, before the TB. What are your thoughts/opinions? Am I crazy?

I dont see why it wouldnt work. I know a couple guys that got a carb kit for cheap and just replaced the nozzle. The spray bar idea would be cool if you could figure a good way to secure it in there. But if you really want to go cheap, dry is the way to go. I originally got my setup for $200. I have since added a few little extras but it worked great even before.

Make sure the solenoid you get with the kit is big enough to support real nitrous flow. Some of those lil kits might only flow 50hp worth.

I'm definatley gonna look into this within the next couple of months. The Sniper kit is rated up to 150hp, which is plenty for me, and its dirt cheap at abuout $370. The average holley 4bbl spacer is about 4" wide, which how big my intake is, so hopefully it will work. If not, I'm gonna look into the Quadrajet kit! I'll keep ya'll posted.
