Default Broken Rocker Arm Bolt???

Rocker arm bolt broke off flush with head. Anybody ever have any luck getting one out without pulling the heads off...If its going to be that much of a hassle I might as well do the 6.0 swap.

which rocker??? the ones toward the back might be harder but i dont see any reason you couldnt get it out... you still might want to take it off just to be sure you dont get any metal shavings anywhere.... just take it off IMO... not that hard to do

Its the #2 cylinder exhaust valve. I was going to try to drill it and usa a extracter but I am afraid I will mess up the head.

Hopefully drilling and using an extractor will get it out for ya. I'd run a thread chaser through the bolt hole once you have it out. If it's too messed up (cross threaded or stripped), you should be OK with a heli-coil.

Maybe bottomed out I don't know. Rented a torque bar from autozone and should have tested it first to make sure it worked properly. I bought the drill bits and extractors today and am going to try to get it out this afternoon.

Bolt came out easier then I thought! When I tried to drill it out the bolt turned freely. I was able to take a flat head screwdriver and turn it out far enough to screw it out with my fingers!
