Arrow Brake upgrade time... MacADaYear & StupidFast...

I'm thinkin on a setup such as this...

Wholesale Direct Rotors (Silverado fronts, 'Burban/'Hoe rears)
Stainless lines from Earls
'Burban/'Hoe 2 piston rear calipers w/ brackets (if necessary)
Just some quality long life pads.

What ya guys think? Oh and do you need the brackets for the 2 piston rear calipers or just rotors?

Sounds like a good setup although I'm curious as to the switch to Sub/Ho twin pistons in the rear? After doing my brake upgrade and making some stops from 60+ MPH, the stock rears do a good job on thier own but actually lock up too quickly, especially after un-weighting the rear of the truck under hard braking causing the ABS to engage. Did you check out my thread in the appearance section about the brake upgrade?

Good point.

I did notice that the rear brake lockup isn't as sever now with the new Toyos mounted on the new wheels. The stock tires just give up to fast in all driving situations.

Why have you chosen that route as oppposed to a Baer +1 in the front and Powerslot's in the rear?? Its a little more money, but I was under the impression that the difference is significant. Just curious. Of course Jsmith's setup is pretty sweet, I just wouldnt have that kind of patience.

Baer's are $$$ and necessitate larger wheels right?

That setup I listed would be $600-700 with the larger rear calipers I'd figure.
