bowhite porting?

Default bowhite porting?

has anyone used them for porting TB or heads? the TB looks good and added 5 horses to a stock car. with a CAI and other mods should add abit more? just curios.

I just got my ported t.b. but have not put it on the truck yet. It looks great, I just have to retune the truck it runs at 2500rpms at idle with it. So I took it back off till I have time to tune for it.

is it normal for the idle rpm's to go up that much??

If they overported it yes. Or they took out that much material.

If its a minor overport sure. If its too much, you cant adjust the IAC enough to accomodate.

I doubt they overported it. It can happen though.

Not long ago I took off my home ported and re-installed the stocker,It wanted to run at 2500RPM.It got to operating temps,shut if off and restarted it a couple times cleared the PCM and then it was fine.IAC was freaked for a short while.
