bought used..is my volant filter oiled or not?

Default bought used..is my volant filter oiled or not?

pretty much just as thread states im doing my spring time car tune up, and im wondering if the filter on my volant cold air is oiled or not

Yes, the original Volant filter is oiled, although I replaced mine with an Amsoil dry filter

you should be able to tell by looking very closely, and seeing if it looks like the medical cottom gauze that they would wrap a burn or cut with and is tinted a reddish or bluish then it is oiled.

If it looks like the carbon filters that they use in a breathing mask for painting or gas, then it is a dryflow.
